The actress and comic genre Elena Sparrow stated that she was denied entry to Ukraine. She wrote about this Sunday, April 2, in his Instagram.
“The law about who could enter and who is not, it reminds me of the infamous Berlin wall and the Palestinian-Israeli relations. In General, nothing good,” she said in her video that she recorded at the airport in Kiev.
Sparrow also apologized to the audience and expressed his regrets that the people of Kiev, who bought tickets to the premiere of the Comedy with her participation, will not be able to see this show.
On 22 March the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) three-year closed the entry of the singer Yulia Samoilova, who was supposed to represent Russia at “Eurovision-2017”. This decision was connected with the visit of the singer of the Crimea in 2015, which in Kiev is considered a violation of the state border.
Ukrainian authorities regularly make decisions about the ban on a country visit to the Russian cultural figures. In the black list of the SBU at the beginning of 2017, there are about 140 people, among them actor Mikhail Boyarsky, singers Oleg Gazmanov, Joseph Kobzon, Alexander Rosenbaum, Yulia Chicherina and Sergey Penkin. According to Kiev, these artists represent a threat to national security of Ukraine.
