According to a study published in the journal Health Psychology, loneliness is affected by it is on subjective perception by the patient of his disease, and not on objective medical indicators.
A group of researchers from the United States seized 159 people aged 18 to 55 years. Volunteers infected with rhinovirus that causes colds, and placed in quarantine for five days in the hotel. All this time the researchers monitored their physical and psychological state.
