NEW YORK, April 1. /TASS/. The poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko died in USA on 85-m to year of life. TASS reported on Saturday, a friend of the poet Mikhail Morgulis.
“Five minutes ago Evgeny Alexandrovich left for eternity”, he said. “I called his son Eugene and announced the sad news, said Morgulis. — Wife Mary, unfortunately, can’t talk”.
Each poet also noticed that almost until the very last moments of the life of Yevgeny Yevtushenko was in the minds of — “he heard, responded, of course, understood that so many people are worried for him”.
With the poet, was hospitalized on 12 March in Tulsa (Oklahoma), all this time was his wife, Maria Novikova. With him also time to say goodbye arrived in the hospital their two sons — Dmitry and Eugene. Another son — Alexander will arrive in Oklahoma in the near future. At the hospital, wife of the poet supported her mother. Yevgeny Yevtushenko, which was officially married four times, five sons: Peter, Alexander, Anton, and born in the last marriage of Eugene and Dmitry.

Yevgeny Yevtushenko on July 18 had to be fulfilled 85 years. He had planned to tour in cities of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Also the site of the main anniversary events were to become the main stage of Moscow Concert hall named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory and Kremlin Palace. Yevgeny Yevtushenko was born in 1932 in a family of geologist and poet-lover Alexander Gangnus. His first poem was published in the newspaper “Soviet sport”, and the first book of poems, “the Scouts of the coming” was released in 1952, the same year he became the youngest member of the Union of Soviet writers. In 1963 he was nominated for the Nobel prize for literature. He is the author of over 150 books, translated into many languages.
