The Russian Embassy in DR Congo confirmed the death of three Russian pilots in a plane crash

Three dead crew members of the cargo plane An-26, the victim in Thursday’s crash in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), were Russian citizens. This was reported by TASS by telephone on Friday, the Russian Ambassador to the DRC Alex Senderov.
The identity of the dead pilots currently specified.
“The names we will announce later when we will have the official papers, but can accurately report that they were Russian citizens. Unfortunately, this information was confirmed. Their bodies were found and taken to the morgue,” said the diplomat.
Embassy of the Russian Federation will return the bodies to their homeland.
