Poroshenko considered that Ukraine will do without the extension of martial law
Moscow. 1 Dec. INTERFAX.RU President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the introduction of martial law in ten regions of Ukraine — it is a preventive measure, and expressed the hope that its extension is not required.

“It is introduced for the first time in the modern history of Ukraine and only for a period of 30 days. The time will be used in order to reduce threats to us, to strengthen our defenses and ability to protect Ukrainian citizens from enemy attack… I have to say that we will be able to limit these activities, and its sequel, I hope will not be needed,” he said during the transfer of the state concern “Ukroboronprom” military equipment of different military units in Kyiv region on Saturday.
November 26, the Verkhovna Rada approved the introduction of martial law in some areas of Ukraine, announced by presidential decree, for a period of 30 days.
The reason for the introduction in some areas of the country, martial law was the incident in the Kerch Strait.
Martial law is introduced in Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Kherson, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions and inland waters of the Azov-Kerch water area.
