In Russia successfully tested a modernized missile missile defense system

The Russian military has successfully performed test launch of a modernized missile defense system on the ground Sary-Shagan in Kazakhstan. About it reports on Saturday a press-service of the defense Ministry.

“On the ground Sary-Shagan (Kazakhstan) combat crews of the troops of air and missile defense Air and space forces successfully conducted another test launch of the upgraded missile Russian missile defense system”, — stated in the message.
As noted by the commander of connection ABOUT Sergey Grabchak, whose words are resulted in a press-service, “new missile interceptor missile defense system after a series of tests significantly confirmed the inherent characteristics and completed the task successfully, conditional hitting the target with a given accuracy”.
In late August, reported a successful test launch of a new domestic missile defense system. Test launches of the new missile took place in February, April and July 2018.
