Chechnya and Ingushetia have agreed about securing the border
The head of Chechnya and Ingushetia, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Yevkurov signed an agreement on securing the administrative border between the regions, which have not been clearly established since the collapse of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR in 1991, reports TASS.

According to the document, between the republics held a fair trade non-residential areas of the Nadterechny district of Ingushetia, Malgobek district, and Chechnya. The document says that the Chechen Republic will be transferred to the part of the Nadterechny district of Ingushetia, a mountainous and wooded area. In turn, Chechnya, Ingushetia reports is equivalent to the territory on the border with the Malgobek district.
The question of the definition of the administrative border between Chechnya and Ingushetia occurred in the early 1990-ies had not been resolved until now. In June 1992, after the collapse of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet socialist Republic was formed the Republic of Ingushetia within Russia, while the then leadership of Chechnya led by Dzhokhar Dudayev took a course on separation from Russia.
The first attempt to draw a line in areas with a mixed Chechen-Ingush population was undertaken in 1993. Then Dzhokhar Dudayev and the first President of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev have signed an agreement under which a large part of the Sunzha district with the exception of the village of Sernovodsk and village of Assinovskaya remained a part of Ingushetia.
Plans on securing the border has caused an unauthorized meeting in the Ingush capital Magas, where the arrests took place.
