Looks like “sea of stars” in the Maldives (photos)
A surprising phenomenon can be observed at night on some beaches of the Maldives.
Waves of the sea begin to glow neon million pixels, creating the illusion of a starry sky.

Such a magical effect is created by bioluminescent phytoplankton that emit light in stressful situations (when the waves are breaking on the shore or by contact with objects and people).
“Sea of stars” can be seen in almost any from the Maldives, but the most unusual glow surging waves occur on the island Vaadhoo.
