Putin expressed his condolences to the wife Govorukhin
MOSCOW, 14 Jul — RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to Galina govorukhina’s, the wife of film Director Stanislav Govorukhin, who died Thursday in Moscow, the corresponding telegram published on the Kremlin website.
Govorukhin, died Thursday at 83-m to year of life after long illness. On the death of the Director, who headed the Duma Committee on culture, said at the plenary session of the lower house state Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. MPs honored the memory of the leader with a minute of silence.
“Please accept my deepest condolences, sincere support and sympathy in connection with befell You grief,” said the President in his address.
Putin added that Govorukhin was a prominent filmmaker and actor, bright, eccentric and strong-willed personality.
“In film and public engagement Stanislav worked with full dedication, firmly defended his creative and civic-minded. And therefore rightfully enjoyed unquestioned authority” — said the President.
