MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS./ The Russian presidential aide on military-technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said that Russia is discussing with Egypt the possibility of additional supplies of Russian equipment for the Egyptian ships of the “Mistral”. He told about it on Wednesday in interview to the newspaper “Kommersant”.
“We are continuing active work on the Mistral from the point of view of their retrofitting other equipment: weapons systems, control systems. We have an advantage over those who also want to get these orders, and we hope that our Egyptian colleagues will appreciate it. While negotiations have not ended, but in 2018 all will be clear”, – quotes the edition.
