MAKHACHKALA, February 3. /TASS./ The Soviet district court of Makhachkala, was arrested for 10 days the main architect of the city Magomedrasul Gitinov suspected of abuse of power, said the lawyer Rinat Gamidov.
“Detention for 10 days,” said the lawyer, noting that “naturally, we will appeal,” the court’s decision. The announcement of the decision the court was held without the press. As explained TASS in court, if within ten days Gitinov will be charged with, the arrest term will be automatically extended by two months.
A consequence, the court was asked to arrest Gitinov because he could “hide from the investigation and trial, influence on the investigation.” In turn, the lawyer of the suspect Hamidov said that the defense considers unfounded “such a strict measure”. “The event itself was committed in 2014 and 2015, information to the investigating authorities did in 2016, and had several times refused to initiate criminal proceedings”, — he said.
