American family raised 14 bears
In the heart of the ranch Berardis, Florida, Monica welde and her son johnny Fourth to spend their days with bears weighing up to half a ton.
The family cared for grizzly bears, black bears and polar bears over the last 90 years. But the family tradition was under threat last year when a senior family member, the husband of Monica johnny Third died of a heart attack at the age of 60 years.
However, the mother and son got together and decided to continue the work of the Patriarch of the family.
“I know that the bears miss him, they notice his absence. But our son and I decided to continue the family business for the sake of my husband,” she says in an interview with Barcroft TV.
“Now we have 14 bears. Do I prefer bears to people? Perhaps sometimes it is,” — says the woman.

Monica says that her bears never anyone not attacked. However, 37 years of life even with friendly predators has left her scarred from the claws. “But I have all my fingers, so we can assume that everything went well,” says the mistress of the beasts.
