The property of the convicted person for a bribe of the official transferred to the state
A court in Vladivostok handed over to the state property of the former head of the Primorsky state road supervision who were convicted of bribery.
It is noted that the Treasury received more than 15 million rubles, which belonged to the former official.
“Frunzenskiy district court of Vladivostok has decided to petition to the state income belonging to the former official, property worth over 15 million rubles”, — quotes “Interfax” the senior assistant Prosecutor of Primorye Elena Telegina.
During the inspection the Prosecutor’s office the former head of road supervision of Primorye could not confirm the purchase of real estate and cars on legitimate income.
“From 2012 to 2015, when the defendant was the head of management of state road supervision of Federal Agency for transport supervision for the Primorye territory, he bought three apartments, garage and car, the cost of which exceeds 15 million rubles, while total revenue officer for 2009-2015 was three times less than this amount”, — noted in Prosecutor’s office.
According to the law, the official was obliged to provide data on revenues, which acquired the property.
Last week the former head of road supervision for the Primorsky Krai was sentenced to nine years imprisonment and fined 11 million rubles for bribery. To serve his sentence he will be in a strict regime colony.
