Kazachiy Khutor in a remote village Vyazovka is only two families. But two Cossacks with their wives manage a large household — 10 cows, 17 sheep, 14 goats, 2 horses. Anton and Ilya Prosenkova hereditary Cossacks. Their grandfather, a Cossack from Taganrog, operated a network of butchers. Anton is a historian by training, Ilya welder. After graduation, the brothers moved from Saratov to Moscow. And in Vyazovka by accident 10 years ago. “A friend wanted to build a farm and bulls to breed for Kobe beef, — says Ilya, we have him in the friendship with the documents helped, often went here. In the end, the friend changed his mind and we left. The farm began simply: we decided to buy a horse. Cheap sold the young colt, then decided to buy something — bought a cow. Well, off we go. The brothers resulted in the order of two dilapidated houses, made contact with local elders (in the village only thirteen people), the village Council. Watch, that the road was cleared, maintained the water tower. Created the first in the area of targeted delivery of milk, cream, curd, cheese, meat. Immediately near, in Roslavl, the brothers joined the Cossack army.
And it was a whole ceremony. In Vyazovka gathered 30 of the Cossacks from Smolensk, Moscow, Roslavl. Held a prayer service, and the Cossacks gave the Foundation Charter. Then the feast of pilaf, shish kebab and Cossack entertainments: shooting from a hunting rifle plates, cutting with his sword the vines, throwing knives… so now the brothers celebrated every year the day of the founding of the farm and all the family gatherings. And be sure to wear a Cossack uniform — the right, — “to present the Cossack spirit”. All the Cossack tradition, the brothers learned in the village themselves. “We ourselves learned to ride on horseback, and with sword to handle, — says Ilya.— At first it was hard, then I used to.” Returning to the Cossack roots helped the brothers find mates. Ilya met his wife in Roslavl the factory, which sews Cossack uniform. Wife of Anton — daughter of a friend of a Cossack.
Of course, two urban the Cossacks initially it was not easy in the village. “The milk had pigs to feed, no one was buying, animals died, — says Ilya.— Our first horse of the Vikings died, poisoned by something, we nursed, fed from the nipples, but not saved. Feed hay to stock every time a problem. Local optional — equipment breaks down, you get drunk. But we in the village like. Cossack without land may not, and it comes into disrepair”. Recently, the brothers bought two more empty village houses. “Maybe with time some guys want more to move. Our farm is open to the Cossacks, come, live, — says Ilya, just a lot of work.
