The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged the Parliament to remove from the agenda old bill “On anti-corruption courts.” About it on Thursday, December 7, reported on his page in Facebook.
According to policy, tomorrow will be exactly a month since he proposed the deputies to accelerate the process of the creation of the Higher anti-corruption court. He noted that it was the desire to create the most favorable conditions for the adoption of a law, as the project is still at the stage of writing needs to be agreed between the various political forces.
“My offer still stands. However, if in the beginning of next week I will see progress within seven to ten days prepare and submit the relevant draft law”, — the President warned.
Poroshenko advised the deputies to heed the recommendations of the Venice Commission and to clear space for a new project.
In September, the state Treasury service of Ukraine has confirmed that the funds allegedly belonging to former President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, was spent on subsidies to friends of the current President of Petro Poroshenko. The Agency confirmed that about 2 billion hryvnia (about 4.4 billion) of the confiscated funds were distributed under the “financial support of agricultural producers”.
