Media: off the coast of China cargo ship crashed

The Agency reports that seven of the ten crew members rescued, three went missing.

BEIJING, 5 Dec. /TASS/. A cargo ship with ten crew members on Board sank 40 nautical miles (74 km) from the coast to the East of the city of Weihai (Shandong province) in Eastern China. As reported on Tuesday, Xinhua news Agency, seven people rescued, three went missing.

The ship was assigned to the island state of Niue (Oceania). It followed from the South Korean Busan city district in Yantai (Shandong province). The crew consisted of citizens of Myanmar.

According to preliminary data, the strong wind and pitching has led to a shift of cargo containers on deck after the ship capsized. Search and rescue operation in the area of emergency continues.

One of the crew members hospitalized. Other survivors are in no danger.
