CHISINAU, February 13 — RIA Novosti. The Moldovan foreign Ministry has asked the government to withdraw Andrei Neguta from the post of Ambassador to Russia told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of Department Alexander Roitman.

The helicopter that crashed on 24 November 2015 with 18 passengers and three members of the Moldovan crew, served in Afghanistan, a civilian mission. The crew worked for the US government and assist the Afghan security forces. The helicopter was shot down by Taliban fighters in Faryab province and fell on the territory which is under control of Taliban. As a result, one of the members of the Moldovan crew was killed. His body was taken to Moldova on 17 December 2015. In captivity of militants remained two citizens of Moldova.
