MOSCOW, Feb 2 — RIA Novosti. The legendary announcer of “Time” Yevhen Suslov, more than 30 years has worked as an announcer at Central television, died on Friday, February 1, at the age of 81 years. This was reported in Facebook by his colleague Alla Danko.
“Today, after a serious illness died our beloved colleague, the speaker of the Central television, honored artist of the RSFSR Yevgeny Suslov,” wrote Danko.
Eugene Suslov was born 10 October 1937, for a long time he worked as an announcer and presenter on Soviet TV, in 1984, he was awarded the title of honored artist of the RSFSR. Suslov led the program “Time”, commented on military parades and festive demonstrations in the USSR, as well as “Blue lights” and other programs.
