Poroshenko answered the question about the seizure of churches of the UOC with the phrase “all the time”

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko commented on the possibility of the seizure of churches of the UOC canonical representatives of the “new Church” with the words “all the time”, the corresponding statement he made in the program “Christmas meetings” on TV channel “Ukraine”, an entry posted on YouTube.
“And when someone was expecting that there first action will be to attack Laurel, transmission not. All the time, and do not accelerate, we gave an opportunity to all to make their choice,” said Poroshenko, answering the relevant question.
Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities, including President Petro Poroshenko, assured that they do not intend to interfere in the Affairs of the Church, but do it all the time. So, despite promises, Poroshenko made from Constantinople the recognition of non-canonical Church in Ukraine, which the Russian Orthodox Church called schismatic.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 17 January adopted a law to change the jurisdiction of religious communities, which may deprive the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) of its temples.
The law provides that the parishioners will have the right to change the jurisdiction of the religious communities, making changes in the Charter (regulations) of religious organizations. The decision to change reporting lines and appropriate revisions or additions to the Charter accepted at meeting of a religious community not less than two-thirds of its members.
