Zakharov assured in the foreign Ministry in the case of the murder of journalists in the Central African Republic

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova criticized the article with allegations of non-operative work of Russian diplomats to clarify the circumstances of death of Russian journalists in the Central African Republic, calling the material “very dishonest”.
On Monday, Moskovsky Komsomolets published excerpts from diplomatic correspondence of the foreign Ministry to investigate the killings of journalists on the basis of which claims that the case is not neglected. Also the edition notes that diplomats got acquainted with the protocols of interrogations of witnesses only eight days later after the murder.
“On what basis it is concluded that the diplomats of the Embassy for the first time acquainted with the materials in 8 days? Diplomats from the Embassy in the Central African Republic has been in touch with law enforcement agencies the CAR from the first hours after receiving information about the incident, they were in constant contact with the official structures of the CAR to get new data, were in touch with the foreign Ministry and law enforcement agencies of Russia and was regularly commented on in the media,” — said Zakharov to journalists.
“And all this against the background priority the moment is to send bodies in Russia, as urged by the relatives”, — said the representative of the foreign Ministry.
Zakharov stressed that “the Embassy everything was done in a given set of circumstances as quickly as possible”. “Somehow this is all again to write the article “forgot”, she said.
