The physicist showed a fascinating video of the movement of light in space
From these videos impossible to put down.
The planetary space flight Center NASA’s James O’donoghue has published on its YouTube channel three fascinating animated video, in which he modeled the movement of particles of light in the Solar system in real time.
In the first video, O’donoghue shows how quickly the light moves around the Earth. The length of the equator of our planet is slightly more than 40 thousand kilometers, and in one second the photon has time to cover this distance in seven and a half times.

In the second clip, a physicist demonstrates how light travels from the Earth to the moon and back. The distance of 384 400 km light takes 1,255 seconds, and the movement in both directions is of 2.51 seconds.

The third video shows a light communication between Earth and Mars. The basis of physicist took the shortest distance between the planets (54.6 million light years), which is achieved approximately every two years. He calculated that the distance the light will pass in just 3 minutes and 2 seconds.
