The General Director of “Mail of Russia” Nikolay Podguzov stated that they bought a flat worth about 100 million rubles of this amount, according to him, 75% was financed by mortgages. Another part of the money he received, including from the sale of the family two apartments, says Mr. Podguzov.

The Insider previously reported that the head of “Mail of Russia” bought the apartment with an area of 386 sq. m. in residential complex “Knightsbridge Private Park” in Moscow. However, he agreed that his place is “really expensive”. “But I have a big family, and the income allows to hope that I will gradually be able to repay the mortgage”, — he added.

In a press-service of “Mail of Russia” TASS said that the purchase of real estate is accounted for in the income statement, provided by the Ministry of communications. The representative of the Ministry told “Vedomosti” that the information about a specific object “needs clarification” but noted that the head of “Mail of Russia” provides information about income and expenses “in the prescribed manner”.
