A consolation for all working Russians will be that under the law, the working day on December 29 will be reduced.
After working six days of Russians expect a long new year and Christmas holidays which will last from 30 December to 8 January.
In addition, the holidays fell on Saturday and Sunday (5 and 6 January) will add to the may holidays. And the first working week of the new year will be three days — it will last from Wednesday to Friday (9 — 11 Jan).

In October the Russian government approved the transfer of weekends and holidays for the year 2019. The corresponding message was published on the website of the Cabinet.
