Russian cargo ship “Kuzma Minin” ran aground off the coast of Britain

The Russian ship “Kuzma Minin” ran aground off the coast of Britain, near the Cornish coast.

The incident occurred around 5.40 a.m. local time.

According to the coast guard, the ship observed a roll of about 5 degrees.

On Board there are 18 Russian sailors of the cargo on Board.

The ship will be moored tugboats, which should help him to go broke with the beginning of the tide.

The coast guard cordoned off the area around the stranded ship.

Judging by the photo of eyewitnesses in social networks, the ship is very close to the shore.

According to the publication Daily Mirror, “Kuzma Minin” left the port of Terneuzen in the Netherlands, which previously was arrested for debts of the ship owner, the Murmansk shipping company (the port, the ship stood for a few months).

“Kuzma Minin” — dvadtsatiletnej a cargo ship registered in Russia and owned by the Murmansk shipping company.

It was built in 1980.
