Two times less than of the disease, the survey respondents indicate signs of old age, the inability to provide for themselves the most (27 per cent) and termination of active employment (26 percent).
Every fifth Respondent associates the onset of old age with retirement.
The vast majority of survey participants believe that a person can continue to lead an active life after 60 years (78 percent), however, need to exert more effort (85 percent).
However, to maintain the rhythm of life, according to 76 percent of respondents, an elderly person hard.
Respondents aged 60 years and older say they want to learn new things (74%), but serious training and retraining of most of them is difficult (60%).
Slightly less than half of people of retirement age consider it important to continue the professional activity (46 percent).
“Overcoming the negative perception of old-age, older, as “waste materials”, should be a priority of society, including the demographic policy of the state”, — told the publication Director of the Department of research VTSIOM Stepan Lvov.
