Liverpool Cathedral has established an unusual statue of an angel — she created more than 100 thousands of knives seized by police from criminals.
8-foot angel created by the sculptor Alfie Bradley in the British centre of metal structures in the town of Oswestry. It took more than a year of work after the Ministry of the interior gave permission to collect knives.

The knives were collected in 43 police stations. Bradley disinfecting them and soldered to the sculpture.
“Angel knives” will become a national monument against violence and aggression. He will stay at the Cathedral until January 31. Local authorities hope that the sculpture will serve as a reminder of the human suffering due to the crime.
