It’s a huge building, made in the form of a bird. Architect Daniel Alamsyah built it in 1990-m to year as a house of worship, which can be people of all religions and faiths for prayer and meditation.

The architect told me that the idea to create such an unusual shape came to him during prayer. According to Alamsyah, he received a vision that the prayer house should be in the form of a dove. But the locals are similarities with the “divine bird” not found, but recognized in the construction of the chicken, which called the building the “Chicken Church”.

Despite the noble idea, the building of special popularity did not use. As a house of worship it worked only a few years, after which there is located rehabilitation center.

Eventually the local authorities decided to close the building as it took a lot of money to complete its construction and reconstruction. For several years the “Chicken Church” was abandoned, but in recent years the building began to revive thanks to the tourists.

Here is a small Museum and guided tours, during which you can climb to the top of the building. In addition, the “Chicken Church” regularly hosts various exhibitions, concerts, weddings and photo shoots.
