There are on the map of Europe is a truly extraordinary place — the Faroe Islands. On the largest island of the archipelago Voar is a unique lake of Serversman or, as it is called, Lativan. Its feature is that the reservoir comes close to the edge and literally hanging over the ocean.

The lake covers an area of 3.4 square km and is the largest in the Faroe Islands. It is located in a deep depression, and its towering headlands on the 252 and 376 meters on the left and right sides.

If you look at Serverswith from a certain perspective, it seems that the pond is located very high above sea level, but in reality the difference in height between the lake and the ocean is just 30 metres away. And if you look from afar, it seems that the lake is tilted towards the ocean, breaking all the laws of physics.

Water from the lake of Serversman, flowing down steep cliffs into the ocean forms a picturesque waterfall Bosselshausen, but to see him is quite difficult because of the location.
