It is assumed that social networks and other Internet sites will be required to inform users upon registration on the type of social network. If the online platform is open, the user data collection will automatically be available to an unlimited circle of persons. if the site has privacy settings and gives the user the opportunity to close the account, then she is liable for the security of classified information, says the document, which is available to Newspapers.
“The bill threatens the privacy of Russian Internet users is actually it allows any third parties to collect data without their demand. Our team believes that each person has the right to determine what information and with whom to share”, — said the representative of “Vkontakte”.
