In China blew up a bridge a mile
And it’s not a terrorist attack.

The bridge is a mile blew up today in Jiangxi province in Southeast China.

Almost instantly a powerful explosion turned the 23-year-old bridge into a pile of rubble and debris. They fell to the bottom of the river Gan.
It was a planned demolition, which was prepared in November last year. To demolish the bridge, the local authorities decided after a major renovation, which has not brought the expected results.

In January 2019, will begin construction of a new bridge. Its length is 2211 meters and the lanes will be six. It is planned to open in 2021.
