The picture area of 81.5 square meter was officially recognized a new world record by representatives of the Guinness Book of records. The previous record holder was the painting area of 72,3 square meters, which was created in New Orleans, USA.

During the download an error has occurred.

On the creation of giant paintings worked 15 artists working in a traditional Mexican technique Visarite.

To work it took them 32 days, 450 pounds of beads, 48 pounds of wax and 30 kilograms of glue.

According to local journalists, at the end of the mariachis festival on September 2, the picture record will be sold at auction. The money received from its sale will go to the improvement of the Mexican schools.
