The National Interest reported on a “secret” weapon of the tank “Armata”
American magazine The National Interest published an article devoted to the service of the Russian tank T-14 “Armata”. The active protection system (KAZ), which is equipped with a tank, complemented by the “innovation and unprecedented systems,” the newspaper writes.
The National Interest notes that the developers have combined in one of KAZ the advantages of the two systems of protection from anti-tank weapons: “Blackbird” and the system optical-electronic suppression “Blind”.
“Tank “Armata” is a unique fighting machine and applied in the technical solutions have no direct analogues”, — commented on the article the developer of the T-14 “Uralvagonzavod” (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).
First the Shape presented in 2015 at the Victory Parade in Moscow. The tank is armed with 125-millimeter cannon of the new generation digital fire control system.
