Thousands of children in Liberia, give the name of Alice. It is not a coincidence
This woman from Liberia helped to be born several thousand children. Many of them named Alice in honor of the midwife.

Their first child Alice was taken in 1990 when Liberia’s civil war. She never stopped working even during the Ebola epidemic in 2014-2015.
In gratitude, the parents continued to name children in honor of the midwife. And now, when many of them grew up and got families, the midwife is waiting for the “grandchildren” — also named Alice.
