The American city is left without police
MOSCOW, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti. All four police officers of Blandford (Massachusetts) resigned, reports CBS Boston.
Police resigned in protest against unacceptable working conditions. It is noted that they had to patrol the city in their cars as official cars was not suitable for this, for example, worked with a police scanner. Furthermore, former employees complained about the quality of bulletproof vests that have expired.
The officers claim that they “had no choice” because working conditions were so bad that jeopardized their own security.
