In Sweden flooded after rains station turned into a swimming pool

In the course went rubber rings and fins.

Incessant rains caused the flooding of the main railway station of Uppsala in Western Sweden. There, under the water was the whole lower floor, as well as tunnels and escalators leading to the trains.

But local residents do not become discouraged. They heroically went down to the floor and waist-deep in water getting to the platform. Despite the elements, the trains continued to run — albeit with a slight delay.

It seems that Swedes do not care what the station building suddenly turned into a pool. Some even decided to take advantage of the situation and made it swim, bringing with them air mattresses, masks and fins. But the police didn’t like that much, and after a while the station divers asked to leave.
