The Islands of Italy found the amazing coral forest
MOSCOW, 14 Jul — RIA Novosti. In the Aeolian Islands of Italy researchers found the coral forest at a depth of about a kilometre, according to Lonely Planet.
Scientists studied the deep-sea world of a group of eight Islands of volcanic origin located to the North of Sicily, and found many previously unknown species of corals and lush coral forest.
The discovery will be used when creating a marine reserve around the Aeolian Islands.
