The Chinese ate 50 peppers of Chile for 68 seconds (video)
In the Chinese city of Tane (Nisan County, Hunan province) started the annual festival of chili peppers, which was a competition for his speed eating.

This year the overall champion of the competition ate 50 hot peppers in just 68 seconds. All competition took place in a special pool of ice water filled with three tons such as red peppers.

Without training in such competitions to participate is prohibited, so it allowed only the toughest contestants.
Note that for the Chinese region of Hunan chili is a traditional product and is very revered here.
