Uskov has filed a lawsuit over the dismissal from the post of editor-in-chief, Forbes Russia

MOSCOW, 6 Jul — RIA Novosti. Former chief editor of the Russian Forbes Nikolay Uskov filed in the Presnensky district court of Moscow the claim about restoration on work and compensation of moral harm.

Filed a lawsuit against the publisher of Russian Forbes — the company JSC “AC RUS MEDIA”, which is included in the media group ACMG.

“This is one of the first actions that I intend to submit it for my wrongful dismissal. We are talking about restoring me to the position of editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine, we are talking about paying me the salary for the period of forced absence and compensation for moral harm”, — said Uskov RIA Novosti.

According to him, the company also was a “violation of the law on mass media, pressure on journalists and the non-payment of salary in time”. Uskov said that the lawsuit was filed in the Presnensky district court of Moscow.

In court, RIA Novosti reported that the decision on review is still pending. “The suit was brought to court. The judge has five days to decide whether to accept it for consideration”, — told the Agency the press-Secretary of the court Alexei Chernikov.

Earlier, the media group ACMG said that Uskov released from the post of chief editor of Forbes Russia, this personnel decision is due to dissatisfaction with the quality of its work and systematic violations of labor discipline. Uskov, in turn, has declared that do not agree with his dismissal and intends to challenge it in court.
