Poland convinced the EU to prevent the “Nord stream — 2”
Poland puts pressure on the EU to convince Europe to prevent the construction of “Nord stream — 2”.
This was Deputy Prime Minister of energy Michael Kurtyka said in an interview with “Polish radio”.
Poland is promoting amendments to the gas Directive of the EU, however, Bulgaria, who chairs the Union at the moment, still kept working on the document.
It is noted that the work on the amendments should continue this month.
“This is the final achievement of hard work of Polish diplomacy for months,” said Kurtyka.
Earlier in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called the Russian gas pipeline “weapons”.
