The sheep occupied the suburbs of Paris
An unusual sight was a traditional event.
Once a month the shepherds of the project Aubervilliers, North of Paris, the release of sheep in the streets of the city with two objectives: to give the sheep more freedom and to bring to the streets a little idyllic mood. Co-founder of the project, Julie-Lou Dubre says: “the Sheep are well behaved on the streets. And it helps people to relax, you can feel the stress is off the streets”.
Sheep walk freely on the streets, but to comply with traffic rules, crossing the road only on the Zebra crossing, stop to gawk at graffiti, reports NDTV. Dubri adds: “Such trips are very important for sheep. We do not use antibiotics or chemicals. Yes, our sheep live in the Park area of 400 hectares, there is a lot of food, but the animals need something more. These walks help them to live more interesting”.
