Putin answered a question about his successor
Moscow. June 7. INTERFAX.RU — Russian President Vladimir Putin said during “straight line” that his successor will be chosen by voters.
“I definitely always think about this. Successor in the classic sense of the word, it will define the Russian people, the voters of the Russian Federation”, — Putin said, answering the question whether he is preparing a successor.
Putin added that he thinks about a younger new generation of managers, “which will be able to take responsibility for Russia.”
On the question of whether he is not alone on the political scene, the President replied negatively, noting that the team of like-minded people.
