Rare pictures of test secret planes and flying saucers.

Throughout the twentieth century, NASA (and its predecessor NAC) used a wind tunnel to test and improve designs of aircraft, space vehicles and many other vehicles. Research center Langley (Virginia) and the research center Ames (California) was built dozens of tunnels to simulate high wind speed, turbulence, icing and ionization. Some structures reached giant size, however, in the 1990-ies the development of computer modeling led to the fact that some of the old facilities demolished. Collection of photos of wind tunnels of NASA — in the gallery “of the Tape.ru”.
