British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, known for his role as Sherlock Holmes, save the courier from robbers. About it reports The Telegraph.

“They [burglars] tried to attack on the actor, but he was able to fight back. He was injured. I think when they learned of Benedict, they ran away,” added Diaz called his passenger a superhero.

The police have confirmed the incident, noting that the victim did not need medical assistance. The attackers has not yet been arrested.

The series “Sherlock” came out on BBC One from July 2010. In the series the action of the works of Arthur Conan Doyle moved to London. Altogether four of the season. Sherlock Holmes, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, was named the most popular character from the TV series “bi-Bi-si”.
