Period media campaign for the presidential elections kicked off on February 17. Free airtime for election debates and broadcast campaign commercials of the candidates provide five Federal TV channels (channel one, Rossiya 1 and Rossiya 24, OTR and TVC) and three radio stations (“Radio Rossii”, “Mayak” and “Vesti FM”). Debates are held only on weekdays, the last will be held March 15.
