The parliamentarian said that Russia is doing it legally at the request of the Syrian official authorities, “again in contrast to the United States.”
“We are fighting terrorists and not trying to illegally overthrow the regime in pursuit of their geopolitical interests. Russia was also ready and willing so far to assist in the post-war settlement and the decision of the humanitarian situation of Syria,” he said.
