The film “Three of the Billboard on the border of Ebbing, Missouri” received a BAFTA
LONDON, 18 Feb — RIA Novosti, Natalia Kopylova. The film directed Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboard on the border of Ebbing, Missouri” recognized as the best British film British Academy of film and television art (BAFTA), follows from the data vote.
The award ceremony is held on Sunday at the Royal albert Hall.
The film is McDonagh’s claim to the prize in nine BAFTA nominations. In the film described the history of American Mildred Hayes, who tries to achieve renewal of investigation of criminal case about rape and murder of her daughter. To draw to the problem attention of law enforcement and public the main character rents three of the Billboard on the outskirts of the city, which places an appeal to the chief Sheriff.
