“Roscosmos” has evaluated the project for the exploration of Mars in more than 6 billion rubles
Moscow. 19 Feb. INTERFAX.RU — the state Corporation “Roscosmos” will spend on the implementation of the project “Eczemas” more than 6 billion rubles, said the materials on the public procurement portal.
In the procurement plan of the Corporation States that the “creation of space system for Mars exploration in the joint with the European space Agency project ExoMars will spend 6,23 billion rubles.
As noted in the materials of the site in 2018 for the program will spend 623,9 million, 2019 — 2.5 billion rubles in 2020 — 1.18 billion rubles. Even 1,928 billion rubles will be spent in the subsequent period.
ExoMars is a joint Russian — European project to study Mars from orbit an artificial satellite and from the surface of the planet. The main goal is the study of the surface of the planet, geological samples and search for life forms.
In 2016 the first phase of the project on the Martian orbit was launched the space module TGO. Its objectives are the study of the atmosphere of Mars and search for impurities, which may indicate the presence of processes of the origin of life on the planet. The module will also be used to transfer data from the Rover and lander mission “Eczemas-2020” to the Ground.
The second and main phase of the project “Eczemas” is scheduled for 2020. It provides for delivery on Mars, the Russian landing platform with the European Mars Rover, and scientific equipment.
