In London’s Heathrow airport as a result of collision of cars on the airfield suffered two employees of the airport, one of them later died, said on Wednesday London police.
The second victim received a broken shoulder, his life is not in danger. Police are investigating the incident.

“We helped two patients, both men. One of them treated a shoulder injury and was sent to the hospital. The second occurred cardiac arrest, and doctors have made great efforts for its resuscitation, both at the scene and on the way to the hospital,” — said earlier, a spokesman for the London ambulance.
The incident occurred early Wednesday morning near terminal 5, where the cars collided on the taxiway.
As a result, several hundred people were unable to leave the aircraft, passengers complained about queues and delayed flights. British media reported that passengers were evacuated from at least one aircraft. The Daily Telegraph writes that were delayed flights more than 20 flights.
At the same time, the airport notes that the airfield after the incident remained open for aircraft. Airport officials are working to reduce the queue.
