CEC has officially completed the registration of all presidential candidates

The ballot in the election of the President of Russia will be eight names.

Moscow. 8 Feb. INTERFAX.RU — the CEC registered all candidates in the presidential elections of 2018, the ballot will be eight candidates, said the head of the Central election Commission, Ella Pamfilova at the Commission meeting on Thursday.

“Now it is clear that in the ballot will be eight candidates, registered candidates,” — said Pamfilova.

“I want all of them to wish success to the campaign was a decent one, with respect to each other and to the voters. Our country deserves elections”, — said the CEC head.

The Central election Commission on Thursday registered the last candidates for the post of President of Russia — Ksenia Sobchak (“Civil initiative”) and Maxim Suraykin (“Communists of Russia”). Before that was a registered independent candidate Vladimir Putin, Pavel Grudinin (KPRF), Vladimir Zhirinovsky (liberal democratic party), Boris Titov (“Party of growth”), Grigory Yavlinsky (Yabloko), Sergei Baburin (“Russian national Union”).

Thus, eight candidates successfully passed the procedure of nomination and registration, and will participate in the elections of the President of Russia.
