Tatarstan citizen, out of jealousy have “mined” the police Department, received a suspended sentence
Kazan. 25 Jan. INTERFAX-VOLGA — Court of Tatarstan has sentenced a local resident, who reported about mining of the police Department, jealous of his wife to the police, the press service of the Prosecutor of the Republic.
“On October 29 2017 the defendant, being drunk, out of jealousy of his wife to one of the police officers called to the duty part and said about mining of the police Department in Kukmorsky district of the Republic”, — stated in the message of supervising Department.
The court found the man guilty under part 1 of article 207 of the criminal code (knowingly false report about an act of terrorism) and sentenced him to one year of imprisonment conditionally, with a probation period of one year.
